Description:

We’re hiring an Illustrator Trainee who’s excited to turn imagination into visuals and sketches into communication — no experience required, just raw creativity, consistency, and a desire to grow. You’ll work on real illustration tasks for marketing, education, branding, and digital media alongside senior creatives. We’ll teach you how to translate briefs into visuals, develop rough concepts, and refine your sketches into clean, purposeful art. You’ll assist in creating characters, environments, and decorative elements that reflect tone, audience, and style direction. Expect to learn how to simplify complex ideas visually while keeping your work lively, relatable, and well-balanced. You’ll gain experience working with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Fresco, or traditional sketching — whatever your style is, we’ll help refine it. We’ll support you in exploring different illustration styles — minimal, textured, hand-drawn, flat, or stylized. You’ll take part in feedback sessions that focus on color harmony, storytelling strength, and message clarity. You’ll receive clear, kind feedback and learn how to iterate your work professionally in response to direction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure copyright-safe use of textures, references, or third-party elements.
• Collaborate with animators or developers when illustrations need to move or be interactive.
• Stay inspired and research visual trends, techniques, and artists across cultures and time periods.
• Be proud of your craft—your illustrations are often the first thing people notice.
• Develop character designs, scenes, icons, infographics, or decorative elements as needed.

Preferred:

• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple illustration projects simultaneously.
• Pays attention to visual consistency, proportions, and emotional expression in illustration work.
• Comfortable delivering clean, well-organized files in formats suitable for print and digital publishing.
• Open to revisions and client feedback while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling techniques.
