We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Assistant who thrives on keeping websites clean, fast, and user-friendly. You’re the type who enjoys the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a website running smoothly — whether it’s updating pages, formatting blog posts, managing menus, or troubleshooting layout quirks. Whether it’s formatting blog posts, adjusting page layouts, or keeping themes and plugins up to date, you bring structure and consistency to the chaos. You don’t need to be a developer, but you’ve got a working knowledge of HTML/CSS and can confidently tweak a widget or fix a layout glitch when needed. Maybe you’ve migrated a few sites, optimized image sizes, or set up contact forms that *actually* work. You don’t need to be a full-stack developer, but you understand the basics of how WordPress runs — and when to Google the rest.

Basic Qualifications:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks like updating plugins, themes, and WordPress core to keep everything secure and stable.
• Communicate with hosting providers or domain registrars when needed to resolve issues or adjust settings.
• Assist in creating landing pages or blog layouts that are responsive and match branding guidelines.
• Stay organized by maintaining documentation of changes, plugins used, and login credentials (securely, of course).
• Manage user roles, comments, and spam filtering so the backend stays organized and under control.

Preferred:

• Has basic troubleshooting skills when plugins conflict or pages break visually.
• Comfortable updating website content, proofreading posts, and ensuring formatting consistency.
• Knows how to back up a site or create staging environments with plugins like UpdraftPlus or WP Staging.
• Enjoys working in a remote environment and supporting others with their websites.
• Excited to grow into roles like WordPress Developer, Content Manager, or Website Administrator.
