Description:

We’re hiring a detail-oriented Online Job Application Assistant to help job seekers find and secure the best opportunities. You’ll help job seekers find the best opportunities by identifying and recommending job listings that match their skills and goals. You’ll guide clients through the application process, assisting with form filling, answering questions, and ensuring nothing is overlooked. You’ll guide job seekers through every step of the application process, from submitting the application to preparing for interviews. You’ll track clients’ applications, sending reminders for follow-up actions and ensuring all deadlines are met. You’ll help clients optimize their LinkedIn profiles and other online platforms to maximize visibility to recruiters. You’ll assist with LinkedIn profile optimization, making sure job seekers are visible and appealing to recruiters. You’ll assist clients in preparing for interviews by offering tips, mock interview questions, and confidence-building strategies. You’ll work closely with clients, providing support and advice throughout their job search journey, from application to interview.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Help clients identify relevant job openings based on their background, career goals, and preferences (e.g., remote, industry, seniority).
  • Assist in crafting short personalized messages to recruiters or hiring managers to increase response rates.
  • Use job alert tools, keyword filters, and boolean search to discover relevant roles efficiently.
  • Assist international clients with location-based filters, visa-friendly roles, and formatting localizations if needed.
  • Track applications in an organized system (like Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable) and follow up on deadlines, rejections, or interviews.

Preferred:

  • Understands the emotional side of job searching and offers encouragement professionally.
  • Understands how to tailor applications to specific job descriptions using relevant keywords.
  • Comfortable creating and using spreadsheets to manage job search pipelines and outreach.
  • Comfortable managing multiple applications at once while tracking deadlines and statuses.
  • Can help draft email templates for reaching out to recruiters or following up on applications.
