Description:

We’re seeking a skilled Translation Specialist to help deliver accurate, high-quality translations for a variety of content. You’ll be responsible for translating documents, websites, and marketing materials while maintaining the integrity of the original message. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure all translations meet client requirements and are aligned with their brand voice. You’ll assist with localizing content, ensuring it is culturally appropriate for target audiences while keeping the original meaning intact. You’ll ensure that your translations are clear, concise, and free of errors, making them suitable for the target audience. You’ll collaborate with other team members to maintain consistency in terminology across projects and languages. You’ll use translation tools and software to maintain consistency and improve efficiency across projects. You’ll stay up-to-date with industry trends, translation best practices, and technological advancements to improve your work.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work independently in a remote setting—planning your workflow, managing time zones, and staying self-disciplined.
• Respect deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time, even under tight turnaround conditions.
• Translate written content accurately from one language to another, ensuring meaning, tone, and cultural nuance are preserved.
• Use quality assurance tools to run checks for missing segments, formatting issues, or term mismatches.
• Handle confidential documents responsibly, following any required NDAs or data protection guidelines.

Preferred:

• Has translated for clients, agencies, or personal projects with a clear process.
• Open to translating both short-form and long-form content across diverse topics.
• Understands confidentiality standards and the handling of sensitive or proprietary materials.
• Wants to grow into roles like Localization Specialist, Editor, or Project Manager.
• Thrives in detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and multilingual environments.
