Description:

We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. You’ll be responsible for welcoming new employees, setting them up with the tools they need, and making their first days feel smooth and intentional. Whether it's prepping equipment shipments or coordinating intro calls, you’ll handle it all with care and clarity. From tools access to team intros, you’ll handle the details that make the difference between “confused” and “confident. You’ll schedule kickoff calls, coordinate orientation materials, and keep everyone in the loop (without overwhelming them). You’ll prepare welcome kits, create helpful onboarding docs, and make sure everyone knows what’s next. You’ll make sure every new hire has a clear path forward and knows who to turn to for support. You’ll track progress across onboarding milestones, send reminders, and celebrate small wins along the way. Basic Qualifications:

• Facilitate async onboarding options (videos, docs, checklists) for self-paced learning across time zones.
• Identify roadblocks or bottlenecks in the onboarding flow and work with relevant teams to fix them.
• Guide new hires through the entire onboarding process, from signing documents to feeling confident in their new role.
• Coordinate welcome emails, training schedules, system access, and intro calls to ensure a smooth first week experience.
• Be the friendly face behind the process—someone who makes new hires feel excited, supported, and ready to contribute.

Preferred:

• Open to improving processes based on feedback and new best practices.
• Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating asynchronously.
• Enjoys creating structure and helping others feel informed and connected.
• Wants to grow into roles like HR Generalist, Employee Experience Manager, or People Ops.
• Understands the unique needs of remote hires and how to make onboarding engaging.
