Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee for our night shift — perfect for someone who prefers quiet, steady work and wants to support warehouse flow while the city sleeps. You’ll begin by helping move boxes, pallets, and goods from delivery trucks into storage zones, always following safety procedures. You’ll assist in checking product labels, expiration dates, and storage instructions before organizing items by category. You’ll help prepare outbound trucks for early-morning dispatch, arranging packages by route and delivery priority. You’ll work alongside crane operators, forklift drivers, and logistics coordinators to stage goods safely and efficiently. You’ll support keeping aisles and loading docks clear, organized, and hazard-free throughout your shift. You’ll support unloading procedures by stacking goods neatly, disposing of damaged packaging, and alerting supervisors to issues. You’ll gain experience in reading manifests and using checklists to confirm that every order is accounted for before it leaves. You’ll follow strict safety rules — from reflective vests to helmet use — and help maintain a clean, hazard-free dock area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use equipment like dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts if certified and required.
• Double-check load accuracy to reduce delays, returns, or safety issues down the line.
• Be mindful of fragile, hazardous, or high-value items that require special handling.
• Assist in wrapping pallets or securing loads with straps, shrink wrap, or other materials.
• Report damaged goods, missing items, or shipment discrepancies immediately.

Preferred:

• Familiar with proper lifting techniques and use of equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Team-oriented and capable of communicating clearly with forklift drivers, warehouse clerks, or logistics teams.
• Able to work night shifts, early mornings, weekends, or overtime depending on shipping schedules.
• Committed to preventing loss, damage, or safety hazards during the loading process.
• Follows safety regulations and wears proper protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, boots, and belts.
