We’re offering a Nanny Internship for someone passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive, playful environment. You’ll begin by supporting experienced caregivers with daily baby routines — diaper changes, feeding, burping, and nap time. You’ll help with routines like morning prep, meal times, bath time, and bedtime depending on family needs and schedule. You’ll help create a calm, stimulating space where children feel encouraged to ask questions and express themselves freely. You’ll support the creation of a calm, positive atmosphere where children feel safe, seen, and heard. You’ll be trained in managing group dynamics — encouraging cooperation, resolving small conflicts, and setting respectful boundaries. You’ll support age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, educational games, and outdoor time. You’ll learn how to manage routines like morning prep, quiet time, bath time, and bedtime with consistency and calm. You’ll be shown how to interact warmly and attentively without overstimulation — letting the child lead in their own way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Read books, play games, and offer creative outlets like arts and crafts or music time.
• Accompany children to and from school, extracurriculars, or playdates as needed.
• Be flexible—children are unpredictable, and plans often change on the fly.
• Handle minor injuries, illness symptoms, or tantrums calmly and responsibly.
• Follow daily routines such as nap times, feeding schedules, and hygiene tasks.

Preferred:

• Able to organize creative activities such as crafts, music, games, or story time to stimulate imagination.
• Background or interest in early childhood education, family care, or child psychology.
• Willing to accompany children to parks, libraries, playdates, or appointments safely and responsibly.
• Organized with managing the child’s clothing, toys, hygiene routines, and personal belongings.
• Can handle multiple children and maintain calm, focused attention during busy or chaotic moments.
