Description:

We’re hiring a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards. You’ll be responsible for conducting manual tests, identifying bugs, and helping the development team resolve issues quickly. You’ll write detailed bug reports, track test progress, and help ensure that software meets the required standards and specifications. You’ll assist in writing test cases, validating software performance, and ensuring compliance with product requirements. You’ll perform regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software is working as intended. You’ll report defects and work with the team to prioritize and address issues, ensuring quick resolutions. You’ll collaborate with product teams to understand the requirements and provide input on testing strategies. You’ll stay current with industry best practices and testing methodologies, continuously improving your skills and approach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Test across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent behavior and responsiveness.
• Be curious—ask "what happens if…" and test like a real user, not just a script.
• Assist in writing simple automated tests (if you’re learning tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
• Your goal isn’t just to “break stuff”—it’s to protect the user experience and build trust in every release.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and verify that they meet specifications.

Preferred:

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as test cases, bugs, and QA cycles.
• Enjoys breaking things in a structured way to improve product stability.
• Can work independently on small testing tasks or pair with other testers on larger features.
• Can follow test plans and checklists to ensure features meet requirements.
• Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
