Description:

We’re seeking a Fashion Designer who doesn’t just follow trends — but defines them through vision, silhouette, and emotion. You’ll lead the design of collections that are visually striking, brand-relevant, and emotionally resonant. You’ll conduct deep research across fashion history, art, architecture, and social movements to inform your creative direction. We’ll rely on your ability to research materials, experiment with textures, and translate abstract ideas into garments that feel modern and refined. You’ll work closely with pattern makers, seamstresses, and production teams to bring your sketches to life with precision. You’ll select fabrics, trims, colors, and details that elevate function, movement, and emotional impact. We’ll rely on your ability to merge personal inspiration with brand vision, delivering collections that are cohesive but never predictable. You’ll guide design development from idea to production, making choices that are bold but buildable, stylish but real. You’ll guide fittings, make design refinements, and protect the core message of your work through every iteration.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt designs based on production constraints, sustainability goals, or budget limitations.
• Sketch and develop original clothing designs that reflect current trends and your unique creative vision.
• Oversee sample development and provide creative direction through each iteration.
• Design for real people—taking into account comfort, body diversity, and day-to-day function.
• Help prepare for fashion shows, campaigns, or lookbook shoots, ensuring every piece shines on camera.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Head Designer, Creative Director, or Brand Founder.
• Willing to work with suppliers, sample makers, and factories throughout the prototyping process.
• Can sketch ideas both digitally and by hand to communicate creative direction.
• Thrives in highly creative, hands-on environments where concept meets construction.
• Open to experimenting with silhouettes, textiles, embellishments, and construction techniques.

You should be proficient in tools like CLO 3D, Illustrator, and Photoshop — and comfortable presenting work conceptually and commercially. Proficiency in sketching (digital or by hand), concept building, and collection cohesion is key to this role. You’ll work across drops or full collections, supporting both fast-release capsules and long-form seasonal stories.
