Description:

We’re seeking a proactive and organized Etsy Shop Manager who can balance creativity with operational precision. You’ll oversee day-to-day shop operations, including listings, orders, customer messages, and analytics. You’ll write compelling product descriptions, choose the best tags, and optimize every listing for search visibility. You understand how Etsy’s algorithm works and aren’t afraid to test and tweak until things click. You’re responsive, professional, and kind when handling customer inquiries, reviews, or refund requests. You’re someone who loves turning messy backlogs into organized workflows and clear to-do lists. You’ll track sales performance, notice trends, and make recommendations on what’s working (and what’s not). You’re not just keeping the shop open — you’re making it thrive, one thoughtful decision at a time. You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks and love keeping things organized in tools like Trello, Notion, or spreadsheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Oversee the daily operations of an Etsy store—managing listings, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Track expenses, revenue, and profit margins—especially if managing physical goods or fulfillment services.
• Manage shop branding, including visuals, policies, announcements, and the “About” section, to reflect a consistent and trustworthy image.
• Build a customer list for remarketing or future product launches using Etsy tools or integrations.
• Handle customer service with professionalism and care—answer questions, resolve complaints, and build strong relationships with buyers.

Preferred:

• Understands the unique balance between creativity and analytics in running an Etsy shop.
• Experience managing or assisting with an Etsy store or other e-commerce platforms.
• Has experience tracking analytics like visits, conversion rate, and revenue trends.
• Comfortable using Etsy’s dashboard and seller tools for tracking performance and inventory.
• Understands how to list products effectively with appealing photos and clear details.
