Description:
We’re hiring a Newsletter Copywriter who knows how to turn an email into a moment — not just a message. You’ll be responsible for crafting email campaigns that sound like they were written for one person — not blasted to a list. Your writing is clear, concise, and knows exactly when to be clever. You’ll work with our team to build content calendars, align emails with launches and campaigns, and make sure every message supports our larger brand narrative. You’ll work closely with marketing, content, and design to make sure every send supports larger campaign goals while delivering value in its own right. You understand the flow of a strong email: a headline that hooks, body copy that informs or entertains, and a CTA that doesn’t feel forced.
Basic Qualifications:
- Collaborate with designers to make sure layout and visuals enhance, not distract from, the message.
- Write engaging, concise, and brand-aligned copy for weekly or monthly newsletters that people actually want to open and read.
- Work with automation tools (like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot) to preview, schedule, and QA emails.
- Keep folders, drafts, and content libraries organized for future use and easy reference.
- Edit and proofread every word carefully—spelling, grammar, clarity, and brand tone all matter.
Preferred:
- Can write for both B2B and B2C audiences depending on campaign goals.
- Knows how to write compelling subject lines and preview text that increase open rates.
- Wants to grow into roles like Email Marketing Manager or Content Strategist.
- Can structure emails for readability with clear headers, CTAs, and scannable formatting.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy.
