Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who takes bugs personally — someone who notices what others miss and genuinely cares about delivering clean, intuitive, frustration-free products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual test cases, documenting bugs, and verifying fixes across web, mobile, or desktop platforms. You’ll test new features, identify issues, and help keep our releases smooth, stable, and stress-free for users. We’ll rely on you to check how the app behaves with poor internet, backgrounding, permissions, and push notifications. You’ll review product requirements and ask the right questions before development even begins. You’ll participate in daily standups and sprint planning to stay aligned with upcoming releases and testing timelines. You’ll test across browsers, devices, screen sizes, and user scenarios to uncover inconsistencies and edge cases. We’ll count on you to see what others overlook, raise concerns early, and always advocate for the user’s perspective. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. We expect you to be methodical, patient, and persistent — especially when reproducing tricky bugs that only happen “sometimes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow test cases step by step—and go beyond them when your instincts say 'something feels off'.
• Stay calm and focused when deadlines are tight or builds are buggy—you're the safety net.
• Collaborate with automated QA or DevOps teams to complement coverage and improve testing strategy.
• Help onboard new QA testers by sharing tips, gotchas, and hidden bugs.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.

Preferred:

• Enjoys finding flaws, breaking things (gently), and ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
• Open to working with designers, PMs, and engineers to improve overall product quality.
• Able to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Values consistency, communication, and curiosity when identifying product issues.
