Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee for night shifts in a shopping mall — a role for someone who enjoys calm, structured work and takes pride in visible results. You’ll begin by learning how to clean hotel rooms efficiently — making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, and wiping all surfaces. You’ll be taught how to properly use cleaning tools like mops, vacuums, squeegees, and dusters for different surfaces. You’ll be trained to notice the small details — from dust on lampshades to streaks on mirrors — that elevate a guest’s stay. You’ll help restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, bottled water, toilet paper, and minibar items. You’ll support floor care by sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning spills, making sure all areas are safe and dry. You’ll follow zone-based checklists and time schedules to ensure nothing is missed during overnight routines. You’ll be responsible for using the right cleaning products on specific materials like glass, wood, and electronics. You’ll wear appropriate PPE and follow all workplace safety rules, especially around cleaning agents and closed areas.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect the privacy and property of those who use the spaces you clean.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Keep cleaning tools organized and stored properly when not in use.
• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.
• Restock carts or closets with cleaning materials before and after each shift.

Preferred:

• Open to training in new cleaning methods or eco-friendly products and equipment.
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, or night shifts depending on site requirements.
• Pays close attention to detail when cleaning surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
• Organized with time management, ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned within the scheduled time.
• Follows safety and hygiene protocols including wearing gloves, masks, and appropriate footwear.
