Description:

We’re looking for a skilled Discord Server Designer to create an engaging, organized, and welcoming environment for our community. You’ll be in charge of designing the structure of the server, ensuring that each channel has a clear purpose and is easy to navigate. Your role includes customizing the look and feel of the server, from roles and permissions to server graphics and emojis. You’ll create custom server graphics, including banners, icons, and other visual elements to enhance the community vibe. You’ll work closely with our community team to implement features and tools that enhance the overall experience for members. You’ll ensure that each section of the server serves a clear purpose, creating a space that’s both functional and visually pleasing. You’ll ensure the server is structured for optimal user engagement, keeping it organized and user-friendly at all times. You’ll help automate repetitive tasks with bots and integrations, improving the overall flow and ease of server management. You’ll collaborate with moderators to develop guidelines and keep the space respectful and engaging.

Basic Qualifications:

• Set up onboarding flows, welcome messages, and verification systems using bots like MEE6, Carl-bot, or custom scripts.
• Craft server aesthetics—from emojis and banners to role colors and channel icons—that match the brand or community vibe.
• Ensure moderation systems are non-intrusive but effective—keep toxic behavior in check without over-policing.
• Maintain a tidy admin panel and file structure—organized configs make future edits easier and safer.
• Balance aesthetics and functionality—don’t over-design or overload with unnecessary bots or channels.

Preferred:

• Open to improving the server structure based on user feedback and analytics.
• Enjoys creating digital spaces that are engaging, inclusive, and easy to navigate.
• Background or interest in community management, UX design, branding, or tech.
• Experience creating or managing Discord servers with organized channel structures.
• Can balance fun and function by integrating game nights, feedback systems, or stage channels.
