Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee to help us design mobile-first interfaces for early-stage products — no experience required, just a sharp eye and willingness to move fast and learn faster. You’ll work alongside product designers and researchers to understand real user behavior and turn insights into better interfaces. We’ll teach you how to use Figma libraries, auto layout, constraints, variants, and documentation best practices. You’ll learn how to take user stories or raw wireframes and turn them into clean, usable, and consistent designs. Expect to work on small features first: buttons, navbars, cards, modals — learning how everything fits into a design system. We’ll show you how to ask the right questions, observe behavior, and avoid assumptions in your design process. Expect to update buttons, fix corner radii, improve hover states, and help teams keep everything unified across pages and platforms. You’ll also contribute to building usage guidelines, example layouts, and internal resources that improve speed and clarity for everyone. We’ll help you connect research to UI: how to go from “this is confusing” to “here’s how we can fix it.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work closely with developers to ensure designs translate well in code—ask questions, share specs.
• Prototype interactions that let stakeholders experience the product before it’s built.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to keep components consistent and scalable.
• Contribute to brainstorm sessions and advocate for the user when strategy gets too abstract.
• Design intuitive, accessible, and visually pleasing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.

Preferred:

• Keeps up with UI/UX trends, tools, and evolving design standards across platforms.
• Can deliver clear specs and assets to developers and support implementation feedback loops.
• Enjoys solving real problems through elegant and intuitive design solutions.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch with experience creating user interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Comfortable using prototyping tools to demonstrate animations, transitions, or complex interactions.
