Description:

We’re seeking an Online Chat Moderator who can keep the digital conversation flowing smoothly while upholding community standards with professionalism and empathy. You’ll be responsible for monitoring real-time chats, identifying violations, and stepping in when things go off track — all while making sure users feel welcome and respected. From moderating live chats and forums to handling user reports and applying community guidelines, you’ll be the one helping to ensure things don’t just run — they run smoothly. You’ll be the one spotting inappropriate behavior, answering common questions, guiding users, and enforcing rules with fairness and empathy. Whether it's chatrooms, livestreams, or comment sections, you'll be a steady, helpful presence. You’ll work closely with the content and support teams to escalate issues, track recurring problems, and suggest improvements to our moderation systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor live chat rooms, forums, or community channels to maintain respectful and safe conversations.
• Use judgment—some situations call for strict enforcement, others for empathy and conversation.
• Support events, live streams, or launches by keeping chat clean, hyped, and on-brand.
• Attend team syncs or mod check-ins to align on priorities, tone, and recurring issues.
• Respond quickly to inappropriate behavior, spam, or rule violations using clear, fair moderation actions.

Preferred:

• Willing to work in shifts and collaborate with other moderators or team members.
• Comfortable with online communities, social media platforms, or forum-style chats.
• Currently studying communication, psychology, media, or related fields.
• Has participated in online chats, Discord servers, or forums.
• Eager to build experience in a digital support or moderation role.
