Description:

We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to support our mobile nail care service — ideal for someone who’s flexible, organized, and ready to bring beauty and professionalism directly to the client. You’ll begin by learning how to pack and transport a compact manicure kit with everything needed for clean, effective service on the go. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained to apply polish evenly, perform gentle hand massages, and build confidence in working with real clients. You’ll help file, refine, and buff surfaces smoothly before color, design, or sealing is applied. You’ll assist in preparing herbal soaks, warm oil wraps, and hand massages that restore rather than strip the skin. You’ll support nail art prep — mixing custom gel colors, cleaning brushes, organizing stones, and preparing foil, stickers, and pigments. You’ll assist with gel and polish application using steady handwork and clean, even layers free from bubbles or streaks. You’ll receive guidance on composition, balance, and theme-based nail sets for photo shoots or seasonal drops.

Basic Qualifications:

• Recognize and advise on signs of nail or skin conditions that may require medical attention.
• Sanitize tools and workstations thoroughly between each client in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Assist with other salon duties like answering phones, greeting guests, or promoting services.
• Suggest aftercare products or routines to help clients maintain their nails between visits.
• Recommend nail treatments, colors, or styles based on client needs and current trends.

Preferred:

• Follows strict sanitization protocols using sterilizers, disinfectants, and disposable tools when necessary.
• Knowledge of current trends in nail art, seasonal designs, and customer style preferences.
• Open to handling back-to-back appointments and peak salon hours with professionalism and patience.
• Wants to grow into roles like Nail Artist, Salon Trainer, or Beauty Studio Owner.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to make clients feel welcome and at ease.
