Description:

We’re looking for an Illustrator Trainee who’s ready to turn creativity into a craft — no formal experience required, just artistic instinct, dedication, and a hunger to evolve as a visual storyteller. You’ll assist in developing visual assets for digital and print projects, including characters, icons, backgrounds, and editorial pieces. We’ll teach you how to follow briefs, meet visual guidelines, and communicate ideas clearly through drawing. You’ll work closely with designers, writers, and art directors to bring concepts to life in ways that are both creative and purposeful. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, curiosity, and attention to feedback matter. You’ll get hands-on with tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Clip Studio Paint — and we’ll help you learn whichever you’re new to. We’ll guide you in understanding how your illustrations function within a broader design system or narrative. We’ll guide you in understanding how illustration supports brand identity, storytelling, and emotional tone. You’ll receive clear, kind feedback and learn how to iterate your work professionally in response to direction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Develop character designs, scenes, icons, infographics, or decorative elements as needed.
• Ensure copyright-safe use of textures, references, or third-party elements.
• Collaborate with animators or developers when illustrations need to move or be interactive.
• Organize your asset libraries and templates for future reuse and efficiency.
• Incorporate feedback from clients or teams with a positive, solution-focused mindset.

Preferred:

• Values creativity, originality, and clarity in every piece of visual work.
• Proficient in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.
• Willing to adapt style between minimalist, detailed, flat, textured, or hand-drawn aesthetics.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple illustration projects simultaneously.
• Open to revisions and client feedback while maintaining artistic integrity.
