We’re seeking a Canva Template Designer who combines creativity with precision and knows how to make digital products people love to download and use. You know how to take a blank canvas and turn it into something that feels intentional, balanced, and undeniably useful. Your Canva folders are filled with layouts you’ve probably never even published (but still obsess over). You get a rush from turning a messy concept into a clean, polished digital product — whether it’s for social media, eBooks, pitch decks, or online courses. Canva isn’t just a tool for you — it’s your favorite creative playground. You move quickly in Canva, using every shortcut, feature, and layout trick like a pro. You know how to build with the user in mind, creating intuitive layouts that are easy to adapt and feel effortless to use. You’re collaborative, open to feedback, and always thinking about how to make the next design even better.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain consistency in typography, color palettes, and layout across template packs while allowing for flexibility and user editing.
• Maintain a library of reusable design elements, icons, and layouts to speed up future creation.
• Provide clear instructions or minimal guidance notes when needed, so customers or clients know how to edit effectively.
• Respond to feedback with a solutions-first attitude, updating designs based on client or market input.
• Package files neatly with clear naming conventions and folders to make download and navigation frictionless.

Preferred:

• Comfortable creating templates for marketplaces like Etsy, Creative Market, or Gumroad.
• Keeps up with design trends and updates in Canva’s feature set.
• Background or interest in graphic design, marketing, branding, or content creation.
• Can follow brand guidelines and create visually consistent content packages.
• Comfortable creating templates that are easy to customize for non-designers.
