Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team and help create high-performance backend systems. You’ll work with senior developers to design and implement robust backend systems that support our web applications and services. You’ll write clean, efficient code using backend technologies such as Node. You’ll write clean, maintainable code using programming languages like Node. You’ll assist in managing databases, ensuring data is stored securely and efficiently, and supporting scalable solutions. You’ll help integrate frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless communication between the server and the client-side. You’ll work with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to deploy applications and scale infrastructure as needed. You’ll learn best practices for writing secure, maintainable, and testable backend code. You’ll collaborate with other developers, participating in code reviews and pair programming to improve your skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support the development and maintenance of backend services, APIs, and database logic using Node.js, Python, Java, or other backend languages.
• Document your bugs, experiments, and fixes—it helps the whole team and makes you a more thoughtful developer.
• Ask questions and seek mentorship when stuck—backend development can be complex, but learning fast matters more than knowing everything.
• Work closely with senior developers to understand business logic, system architecture, and coding standards.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs in backend services, logging issues and applying patches.

Preferred:

• Understands how to build and consume RESTful APIs and basic CRUD operations.
• Familiar with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and how to write simple SQL queries.
• Curious about performance, scalability, and how to write efficient queries or endpoints.
• Interested in learning unit testing, integration testing, and API validation tools.
• Eager to improve in areas like security, scalability, and clean architecture over time.
