Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Painter to apply protective coatings to metal, concrete, and machinery — perfect for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically strong, and precise with tools and technique. You’ll apply specialty finishes such as Venetian plaster, metallic coatings, faux textures, limewash, and hand-brushed glazes. You’ll follow precise design specifications and sample boards provided by designers or clients to achieve custom effects. You’ll follow client instructions and color specs to match tones, textures, and finishes exactly as requested. You’ll help match colors to design plans or coordinate with the general contractor on changes and substitutions. You’ll work around electricians, tilers, and carpenters in active job sites where timing and teamwork are critical. You’ll tape, cover, and protect freshly installed cabinetry, floors, and fixtures before painting begins. You’ll be trained to follow build schedules, paint specifications, and construction safety protocols on every site. You’ll be expected to complete daily job logs, report material usage, and communicate progress to supervisors.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow blueprints or color schemes provided by clients, designers, or supervisors.
• Repair cracks, drywall, or surface imperfections to ensure a flawless final result.
• Advise clients on color selection, paint types, and maintenance tips if requested.
• Work on both interior and exterior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
• Adapt to different surface types—wood, concrete, drywall, brick—and adjust techniques accordingly.

Preferred:

• Familiar with preparing surfaces through sanding, scraping, patching, priming, or power washing.
• Organized in maintaining clean work areas, labeling materials, and properly storing paint and tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts while observing proper safety practices.
• Willing to assist in estimating material quantities, timelines, and labor requirements for painting jobs.
• Pays strong attention to detail to ensure clean lines, even coverage, and minimal drips or streaks.

You’ll use ladders, scaffolding, and safety gear while working at height or in tight corners. You’ll be trained in surface compatibility, environmental conditions, and specialty material handling. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and clean lines. You’ll collaborate with contractors, foremen, or restoration specialists during large multi-trade renovation projects. You’ll work indoors most of the year, with occasional exterior finishing in good weather. Experience is helpful but not required — we’ll train those with the strength, balance, and focus to work safely at height.
