Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated Online Job Application Assistant to guide clients through the job search process with efficiency and care. You’ll help job seekers identify relevant opportunities and customize their resumes and cover letters to meet specific job requirements. You’ll help clients create personalized resumes and cover letters, ensuring they highlight their skills and experiences effectively. You’ll track applications, remind clients of follow-up dates, and keep them on track with deadlines. You’ll provide guidance on how to approach different types of job applications and optimize profiles on platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed. You’ll research companies and roles to help candidates understand the job market and what each opportunity entails. You’ll provide feedback and suggestions for improving application materials to maximize chances of landing an interview. You’ll also help job seekers prepare for interviews, offering tips and strategies for success. You’ll ensure clients’ applications are error-free and tailored to each job description, enhancing their chances of getting an interview.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep tabs on changing hiring trends or niche job boards to give clients a competitive edge.
• Act as a support system during a stressful process—you're not just pushing buttons, you're helping someone get hired.
• Stay adaptable as job descriptions, requirements, and platforms evolve.
• Treat every application like it matters—because for the client, it really does.
• Assist in crafting short personalized messages to recruiters or hiring managers to increase response rates.

Preferred:

• Knows how to optimize LinkedIn profiles, portfolios, or personal websites for job search visibility.
• Wants to grow into roles like Career Services Coordinator, Talent Support Specialist, or Virtual HR Assistant.
• Willing to research company backgrounds and help tailor responses accordingly.
• Comfortable creating and using spreadsheets to manage job search pipelines and outreach.
• Pays attention to detail when filling out application forms to avoid errors or inconsistencies.

You’ll assist with gathering and organizing documents, such as references, certificates, and portfolio items, for applications. You’ll research companies and industries to give clients deeper insights into potential employers and job markets. You’ll offer advice on networking strategies and how to effectively communicate with recruiters. You’ll organize job applications by priority and follow up with clients to ensure they’re progressing efficiently. You’ll keep track of feedback and make adjustments to the application strategy as needed, ensuring every submission is tailored to the job.
