Description:

We’re welcoming a Nanny Intern who’s ready to learn how to care for children with patience, creativity, and responsibility. You’ll assist in creating a safe, loving environment where kids can grow, play, and feel supported every day. You’ll help with basic care such as feeding, diaper changes, dressing, and guiding children through their daily routines. You’ll be trained to recognize children’s emotional cues, respond calmly to upset behavior, and set gentle boundaries. You’ll assist with sterilizing bottles, organizing baby supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe nursery space. You’ll be trained in managing group dynamics — encouraging cooperation, resolving small conflicts, and setting respectful boundaries. You’ll help prepare snacks or simple meals, and learn how to accommodate allergies or special dietary needs. You’ll help manage toys, organize children’s belongings, and maintain a clean and child-safe environment. You’ll learn how to create calm in a high-energy environment and help kids transition between activities without chaos.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure a safe and clean environment, including tidying play areas and washing children’s laundry.
• Assist with light household tasks related to childcare, like washing bottles or organizing toys.
• Stay up to date on basic first aid, CPR, and child safety practices.
• Offer a consistent, comforting presence that children can rely on day after day.
• Accompany children to and from school, extracurriculars, or playdates as needed.

Preferred:

• Respects family values, parenting style, and household rules while offering support and structure.
• Willing to assist with homework, school pickups/drop-offs, or extracurricular schedules as needed.
• Comfortable with light housekeeping related to the child, including laundry, tidying play areas, and dishwashing.
• Thrives in home-based, child-centered settings where flexibility and warmth are essential.
• Capable of maintaining a log or summary of daily activities for parental review.
