Description:
We’re seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to fix issues before release. You’ll assist in creating and maintaining detailed test plans, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested across different devices and platforms. You’ll assist in preparing test plans and cases, making sure all features are thoroughly tested before launch. You’ll perform functional, regression, and smoke tests to ensure that the software works as expected in different environments. You’ll report defects in a clear and concise manner, working with developers to verify fixes and prevent future issues. You’ll test both front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform. You’ll monitor the progress of testing, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Balance speed and detail—test thoroughly but efficiently, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Assist in writing simple automated tests (if you’re learning tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
- Test forms, buttons, navigation flows, and APIs with a user-first mindset—what would confuse or frustrate a real person?
- Be curious—ask "what happens if…" and test like a real user, not just a script.
- Be proactive in learning from senior QA engineers, documentation, or courses—your skillset will grow with every sprint.
Preferred:
- Knows how to review UI/UX for consistency and spot layout or responsiveness issues.
- Background or interest in software development, quality assurance, or tech in general.
- Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Open to writing documentation or contributing to QA process improvements.
- Can follow test plans and checklists to ensure features meet requirements.
Benefits:
- Team culture values calm detail-checkers over loud bug-blamers.
- Celebrate every fix, reproducible bug, and successful test pass — we do.
- We’ll support you in learning automation if that’s your next step.
- We support your learning — paid courses, mentorship, and time to skill up.
- Work remotely and help ship products that don’t break (at least not on your watch).
You’ll participate in reviews and meetings, providing input on test cases, results, and areas for improvement. You’ll monitor and analyze test results, ensuring any bugs found are properly documented and fixed before product release. You’ll learn and work with test automation tools to gradually implement automated tests alongside manual testing. You’ll help with identifying areas for improvement in the product and suggesting potential solutions based on testing results. You’ll maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring no bugs or defects go unnoticed during testing. You’ll provide regular reports on test progress and results, highlighting critical issues and suggesting improvements. This remote role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere while making a meaningful impact on product quality. If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited about ensuring software quality, we’d love for you to join our team.
