Description:
We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide daily support to elderly clients — ideal for someone who values patience, dignity, and helping seniors maintain independence and comfort at home. You’ll assist older adults with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, always with sensitivity to their mobility and comfort levels. You’ll help manage comfort through medication reminders, touch-based reassurance, and nonverbal communication techniques. You’ll work alongside nurses, hospice teams, and family members to honor the individual’s wishes and care plan. You’ll provide emotional presence — sitting quietly, holding hands, listening, or simply being there when words aren’t needed. You’ll provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply sitting together during quiet moments. You’ll assist with gentle housekeeping, meal prep (if needed), and creating a peaceful environment in the client’s space. You’ll rotate shifts that include quiet overnight presence, daytime care, or support during family visitation hours. You’ll assist during medical appointments, therapy sessions, or errands by offering support and clear communication.
Basic Qualifications:
- Respect the dignity, privacy, and independence of clients in all interactions.
- Offer emotional support during times of loneliness, grief, or cognitive decline.
- Follow hygiene and infection control standards to protect both client and caregiver.
- Provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply being present.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Preferred:
- Capable of preparing simple, nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Organized with tracking routines, monitoring behaviors, and documenting changes for healthcare providers or family members.
- Enjoys building trust and improving the quality of life for those in need of care.
- Values empathy, responsibility, and reliability in caregiving roles.
- Comfortable working in private homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings depending on the client’s needs.
Benefits:
- Job security in a field that’s always in demand — people always need care, especially as they age.
- Your work makes a profound difference — you’re improving the lives of those who need it most.
- You’ll be part of a team that values your emotional intelligence and compassion.
- A safe, supportive environment — we ensure you’re working in conditions that prioritize both your and the client's safety.
- Emotional reward — you’ll feel the satisfaction of knowing you’re bringing comfort to someone in need.
You’ll help manage supplies like linens, gloves, comfort aids, and light medical equipment with care and organization. You’ll help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming space for the child to learn, relax, and thrive. You’ll adapt to each client’s personality, preferences, and pace — whether they need active engagement or gentle presence. You’ll follow ethical guidelines that prioritize client dignity, autonomy, and comfort above all. You’ll receive guidance and mentorship from experienced care coordinators who will help you grow into your role. You’ll be mentored on how to stay sharp and caring during overnight hours without disrupting a restful environment. You’ll provide peace of mind not just to clients, but to their families, knowing someone is awake and attentive. No experience is required — just reliability, steadiness, and compassion that never clocks out. If you’re ready to be the quiet guardian through the night, we’re ready to welcome you into overnight caregiving.
