Join our team as a Security System Installer Trainee — no experience required, just a willingness to learn and a drive to work hands-on in the field. You’ll ride along with trained techs, visiting homes, offices, warehouses, and retail stores to help install real security systems. You’ll start by assisting on real installations: unboxing smart devices, organizing cables, and prepping work areas. You’ll assist experienced technicians on real job sites — homes, offices, shops — learning how systems are set up in different environments. We’ll train you to handle sensors, cameras, control panels, and backup systems that silently stand guard 24/7. You’ll be shown how to mount devices, connect control panels, and test systems for reliability and accuracy. Expect to learn how to route cables cleanly, avoid signal interference, and connect systems safely to power and networks. Expect variety — every site is different, every layout unique, and every client needs a solution that fits them. We’ll guide you in understanding system layouts, battery backups, wireless signal ranges, and router placement.

Basic Qualifications:

• Review blueprints or client needs to determine the best placement for devices.
• Provide maintenance and upgrades when systems need a refresh or add-ons.
• Ensure every system is installed to prevent blind spots or weak points.
• Climb ladders, drill holes, and mount equipment neatly and safely.
• Handle wiring and setup for both wired and wireless security systems.

Preferred:

• Able to adapt to different brands, models, and evolving technologies in the security space.
• Familiar with configuring security software, mobile apps, or cloud-connected surveillance platforms.
• Thrives in hands-on, technical, and mission-critical environments where attention to detail matters.
• Experience installing and configuring security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and motion detectors.
• Understands basic electrical wiring, low-voltage circuits, and safe handling of tools and equipment.
