Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Email Marketing Assistant to join our team and assist with creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns. You’ll help write, design, and schedule emails that promote products, events, and brand content to engage our audience. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to design effective email campaigns that align with overall business objectives. You’ll assist in building segmented email lists, targeting specific customer groups with personalized messaging. You’ll help segment email lists to target specific audiences and improve engagement with personalized content. You’ll track the success of email campaigns, providing insights into open rates, click-through rates, and other key performance indicators. You’ll assist with A/B testing, experimenting with subject lines, CTAs, and designs to improve the effectiveness of emails. You’ll assist in setting up automated email workflows to nurture leads and support customer retention.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure proper formatting, grammar, and link functionality before scheduling any emails—mistakes happen, but not on your watch.
• Document and maintain SOPs for recurring email tasks, templates, and tagging conventions.
• Assist in writing or editing email flows like welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement, or post-purchase follow-ups.
• Support lead generation efforts by integrating forms and pop-ups across websites or landing pages.
• Track campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates) and compile simple reports for the team.

Preferred:

• Excited to support campaign planning, execution, and ongoing optimization.
• Comfortable using Canva or other tools to design basic banners or visuals for emails.
• Understands how to clean mailing lists, manage unsubscribes, and maintain deliverability.
• Can schedule and test email campaigns before sending to ensure accuracy.
• Comfortable creating and formatting newsletters, campaign emails, and automated flows.

You’ll ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other privacy laws. You’ll stay informed on the latest email marketing trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas into campaigns.
