Description:

We’re looking for a skilled Discord Server Designer to create an engaging, organized, and welcoming environment for our community. You’ll be responsible for structuring and organizing our Discord server, ensuring it’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You’ll design channels, roles, and permissions to make sure members have a seamless experience, whether they’re chatting or participating in events. Your creative touch will be seen in custom server graphics — from emotes and banners to background images that capture the community’s spirit. You’ll work closely with our community team to implement features and tools that enhance the overall experience for members. You’ll ensure that each server section has a clear purpose and intuitive navigation for seamless user experience. You’ll make sure the server has a clear structure, intuitive navigation, and easy access to important channels and resources. You’ll help automate repetitive tasks with bots and integrations, improving the overall flow and ease of server management. You’ll collaborate with moderators to develop guidelines and keep the space respectful and engaging.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support multilingual or multi-region setups by designing separate zones or language-specific roles if needed.
• Help migrate or restructure existing servers without losing data, channels, or community engagement.
• Design event channels, discussion threads, and temporary categories to support seasonal or time-limited activities.
• Create intuitive channel layouts, category hierarchies, and naming conventions to guide users and reduce clutter.
• Stay updated with new Discord features (forum channels, events, stickers, threads) and decide when/how to implement them.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to channel naming conventions, readability, and logical grouping.
• Familiar with using third-party integrations like Zapier, Tally forms, or webhook systems.
• Able to design intuitive server layouts with welcome channels, rules, and role assignment flows.
• Enjoys creating digital spaces that are engaging, inclusive, and easy to navigate.
• Understands Discord permissions, roles, and moderation settings for secure environments.
