Description:
We’re looking for a highly organized E-commerce Assistant to support our online store’s daily operations and growth. You’ll be responsible for managing product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images are displayed. You’ll help process and manage orders, ensuring that shipments are tracked and customer inquiries are addressed promptly. You’ll help monitor inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and available for customers to purchase. You’ll assist with managing product categories, optimizing product pages for search engines, and maintaining a clean online storefront. You’ll handle customer service inquiries, providing timely and professional responses to resolve any issues or concerns. You’ll help optimize product pages for better user experience and increased conversion rates. You’ll generate sales reports and analyze product performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Support the SEO optimization of product listings by researching keywords and improving meta tags and URLs.
- Ultimately, support smooth e-commerce operations so that customers get what they want, when they want it—without surprises.
- Balance accuracy and speed when updating listings—details matter, but ecommerce moves fast.
- Monitor reviews and customer feedback to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for product improvement.
- Contribute ideas to improve store layout, product presentation, or user experience.
Preferred:
- Willing to learn about e-commerce platforms, plugins, and app integrations over time.
- Understands the importance of mobile responsiveness and consistency across devices.
- Familiar with managing product listings on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, or Amazon.
- Understands basic e-commerce operations including inventory updates, shipping settings, and product tagging.
- Wants to grow into roles like E-commerce Manager, Product Coordinator, or Storefront Lead.
