Description:

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who knows that great dentistry is a team sport — and you’re the MVP behind the scenes. You’ll be the friendly face that greets nervous patients and helps them feel safe before a single tool is picked up. Before the dentist even picks up an instrument, you’ve already set the tone with kindness and care. You’ll sterilize tools, manage supplies, and make sure everything is spotless, safe, and ready to go. You’ll know what’s needed before anyone has to ask, because your intuition is practically psychic. You’ll help patients feel relaxed, even if they “hate the dentist” — challenge accepted. You’ll manage tools, charts, and schedules like a multitasking wizard in scrubs. You’ll be responsible for infection control and patient safety — and you take both seriously. You’ll enter notes accurately, update charts efficiently, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay organized while managing multiple patients, treatment rooms, and procedure prep throughout the day.
• Maintain patient records by recording treatment information, vitals, and updates accurately in the dental practice software.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, taking impressions, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Support oral surgeries or specialty treatments (e.g., orthodontics, endodontics) as needed based on clinic services.
• Ensure all HIPAA and patient privacy guidelines are followed when handling records or discussing treatment.

Preferred:

• Understands how to assist with impressions, temporary crowns, and basic lab work.
• Capable of supporting both general and specialty procedures such as orthodontics or oral surgery.
• Can manage front desk duties when needed, including scheduling, billing, and verifying insurance.
• Comfortable explaining post-treatment care to patients in a calm and supportive manner.
• Familiar with sterilization techniques and infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
