Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support our catering operations — perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, adapts quickly, and keeps things running clean in dynamic event environments. You’ll wash and sanitize dishes, trays, glassware, and cookware coming from the restaurant, room service, and banquet events. You’ll operate commercial dish machines, scrub large pots and pans, and ensure everything is sanitized and properly stored. You’ll work with commercial dishwashing machines and perform manual scrubbing for heavy pots and delicate kitchen tools. You’ll help empty and sanitize trash bins, recycling, and compost stations as part of end-of-day procedures. You’ll collect dirty trays from return stations, stacking and sorting them for safe and efficient washing. You’ll work mostly independently or with a small closing crew, following a clear checklist of nightly duties. You’ll be trained to operate commercial dish machines and follow health department safety guidelines. You’ll follow all hotel hygiene standards and help prepare for regular health inspections and internal audits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Report broken equipment, clogged drains, or other issues to the kitchen supervisor immediately.
• Help clean kitchen appliances, prep tables, or storage areas when needed.
• Know that even though you’re behind the scenes, your work keeps everything moving forward.
• Use protective gloves and follow safety practices when handling chemicals or hot equipment.
• Handle glassware and sharp tools carefully to avoid injury or breakage.

Preferred:

• Comfortable maintaining a clean and organized dish pit area to prevent cross-contamination or delays.
• Familiar with operating commercial dishwashing machines, including loading, unloading, and proper rack usage.
• Wants to grow into roles like Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor over time.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy racks, and bend frequently throughout shifts.
• Able to maintain a steady pace during high-volume shifts and peak meal service times.
