Description:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-quality video content. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and creating polished videos that align with our brand vision. You’ll collaborate with the content team to develop ideas and implement creative strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the brand’s tone and style. You’ll ensure the video content is engaging, visually compelling, and optimized for each platform, from YouTube to Instagram and beyond. You’ll be responsible for ensuring videos are optimized for different platforms and screen sizes to maximize engagement. You’ll manage the video editing process from start to finish, ensuring smooth transitions, color correction, and audio balancing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt your editing style to suit different clients—clean and corporate vs. bold and Gen Z, depending on the brief.
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, speed, and creative energy.
• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Troubleshoot technical issues calmly—software bugs, render failures, or syncing problems are part of the job.
• Organize project files, b-roll, audio, and assets for efficiency and easy collaboration using tools like Google Drive, Frame.io, or Dropbox.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in film, media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Thrives in a remote-first, creative, and feedback-friendly team environment.
• Understands the importance of hooks, retention, and first-3-second engagement on social platforms.
• Experience editing content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or short-form ads.
