Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide daily support to elderly clients — ideal for someone who values patience, dignity, and helping seniors maintain independence and comfort at home. You’ll assist with personal care routines such as bathing, changing, repositioning, and mouth care with gentleness and dignity. You’ll help with evening routines such as changing into sleepwear, medication reminders, and settling into bed peacefully. You’ll work alongside nurses, hospice teams, and family members to honor the individual’s wishes and care plan. You’ll help children navigate social interactions, emotional regulation, and frustration using calming techniques and praise. You’ll assist with mobility, lifting, or positioning as needed using safe transfer techniques and supportive equipment. You’ll collaborate with parents, therapists, and educators to maintain consistency and reinforce goals from home to school. You’ll monitor cognitive changes gently, helping clients stay mentally active with conversation and light activities. You’ll support families by offering updates, reassurance, or simply relieving them for a few hours of rest.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain a calm, caring presence—even on difficult or emotionally draining days.
• Offer emotional support during times of loneliness, grief, or cognitive decline.
• Ensure a safe living environment by preventing falls, hazards, or medication mismanagement.
• Provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply being present.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred:

• Familiar with safe techniques for transferring, repositioning, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.
• Understands how to respond to emergencies calmly and notify family members or supervisors promptly.
• Enjoys building trust and improving the quality of life for those in need of care.
• Thrives in nurturing, client-centered environments where patience and care make a real difference.
• Wants to grow into roles like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, or Care Coordinator.
