Description:
We’re hiring a Remote HR Coordinator to be the backbone of our HR operations, handling recruitment, benefits, and employee relations. You’ll assist in the full cycle of recruitment, from posting job ads to scheduling interviews and onboarding new team members. You’ll assist with onboarding, making sure new employees are set up for success and feel welcomed into the team. You’ll maintain employee records, track attendance, and assist with payroll administration. You’ll coordinate benefits administration, answer employee questions, and help them navigate their options. You’ll assist with employee development programs, helping to organize training sessions and performance reviews. You’ll assist in building employee engagement programs, working to enhance satisfaction and retention within the team. You’ll manage time-off requests, attendance, and help coordinate payroll with our finance team. You’ll track and report on key HR metrics, using data to improve and refine our processes and operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with privacy, labor, and company policies.
- Continuously look for ways to improve HR workflows and make remote processes more efficient and human-centric.
- Respond to Slack, email, or ticket-based inquiries quickly and clearly—remote employees rely on timely info.
- Assist with performance review cycles—sending reminders, tracking submissions, and compiling feedback when needed.
- Assist in maintaining internal HR documentation, such as policies, handbooks, org charts, and FAQ pages.
Preferred:
- Comfortable maintaining digital files, updating HR systems, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling employee records and deadlines.
- Can coordinate with finance or operations teams on payroll, benefits, or contractor onboarding.
- Able to draft offer letters, collect onboarding documents, and track completion status.
- Background or strong interest in human resources, business administration, or people operations.
