We’re hiring a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can make starting a new job feel like joining a community — not just a company. You’re not just organized — you’re empathetic, knowing how to make someone feel like they belong from the start. You’ll schedule kickoff calls, coordinate orientation materials, and keep everyone in the loop (without overwhelming them). You’re great at sending that one extra follow-up that turns silence into clarity. You’ll refine onboarding materials to make them more intuitive, engaging, and accessible. You’ll track progress across onboarding milestones, send reminders, and celebrate small wins along the way. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coordinate welcome kits, branded merch, or shout-outs to make remote hires feel part of the team from day one.
• Identify roadblocks or bottlenecks in the onboarding flow and work with relevant teams to fix them.
• Track onboarding progress using checklists or tools like Notion, Trello, or an HRIS, and follow up as needed.
• Make the onboarding process feel human and welcoming, even through a screen—people remember how you made them feel.
• Coordinate equipment shipments, account setups, and software permissions (even if you don’t do the IT part, you’ll track it).

Preferred:

• Thrives in a supportive, behind-the-scenes role that impacts company culture.
• Knows how to track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items.
• Understands the importance of first impressions and a smooth start for new employees.
• Experience guiding new hires or clients through onboarding processes remotely.
• Comfortable setting up calendar invites, email accounts, and access permissions.
