We’re seeking a Cashier who brings consistency, courtesy, and confidence to every transaction — someone who understands that checkout isn’t just about speed, but about closing each visit on a high note. You’ll be the first and last interaction many customers have with us, so your role sets the tone and leaves a lasting impression. You’ll operate the register, scan items, process payments, and handle returns while keeping everything accurate and efficient. You’ll greet customers warmly, answer basic product or store questions, and make sure they leave feeling appreciated. You’ll help answer quick questions, recommend popular products, and connect customers with team members when needed. You’ll be taught how to handle common issues, like price checks or coupon questions, with patience and professionalism. You’ll help with price checks, returns, exchanges, and receipts, always keeping a calm and respectful tone. You’ll be part of a team that values communication, teamwork, and keeping lines moving efficiently without making anyone feel rushed. You’ll offer loyalty programs or promotions in a natural, helpful way — never robotic or pushy.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines—especially when handling food or sanitizing equipment.
• Handle high volumes of transactions with speed and accuracy.
• Be punctual and dependable—your role is essential to the flow of the store.
• Support coworkers when needed, whether it's stocking shelves or helping with cleanup.
• Notice when customers need help and offer assistance, even if they don’t ask.

Preferred:

• Experience operating a cash register, POS system, or self-checkout station in a retail or food service environment.
• Can quickly learn and adapt to new store systems, scanners, or payment technologies.
• Able to handle cash, credit/debit transactions, mobile payments, and provide accurate change.
• Understands the importance of cleanliness, appearance, and station organization.
• Follows store procedures for voids, overrides, and ID checks on restricted items.
