Description:

We’re hiring a Locksmith to specialize in upgrading traditional locks to smart systems — perfect for someone who’s tech-friendly, customer-focused, and excited about modern security solutions. You’ll install smart locks, keypads, fingerprint scanners, and mobile-controlled entry systems for homes, apartments, and businesses. You’ll install high-security deadbolts, keyless entry systems, panic bars, closers, and master key systems across a variety of commercial sites. You’ll cut and program transponder keys, key fobs, remote start systems, and push-to-start units using diagnostic equipment. You’ll troubleshoot connection issues, app pairing problems, and battery-related concerns both during and after installation. You’ll rotate on-call shifts — including nights, weekends, and holidays — to provide 24/7 availability to clients in need. You’ll communicate with dispatch, log job status, and report completion using mobile apps or radio systems. You’ll log each visit, record work done, track parts used, and issue invoices or payment receipts onsite. You’ll maintain a clean, branded appearance and be ready to explain features in a friendly and clear way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect client confidentiality and maintain a high level of trust when handling sensitive access points.
• Respond to emergency lockout situations with professionalism and minimal damage.
• Use specialized tools like picks, key cutters, drills, and tension wrenches with precision.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.
• Perform maintenance checks on high-traffic entry systems in offices or apartment buildings.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working from a mobile locksmith van or in a shop setting depending on client needs.
• Background or strong interest in mechanical systems, security hardware, or precision craftsmanship.
• Willing to assist with safe moving, lock retrofits, or large building rekeying projects.
• Understands how to protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive security information responsibly.
• Able to install or service door closers, panic bars, master key systems, and high-security lock systems.
