Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Electrician to install and maintain electrical systems in factories, plants, and large-scale facilities — ideal for someone who thrives in technical environments and values precision and safety. You’ll install outlets, light fixtures, panels, and switches during home builds, renovations, and service visits. You’ll read and interpret industrial blueprints, electrical schematics, PLC diagrams, and system layouts to perform your work accurately. You’ll troubleshoot household issues such as tripped breakers, flickering lights, faulty outlets, and overloaded circuits. You’ll upgrade old wiring in kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces to support modern appliances and devices. You’ll communicate clearly with clients under stress, explaining the issue, risks, and repair plan in a calm, professional tone. You’ll conduct preventive maintenance on motors, relays, VFDs, lighting systems, and backup power sources to reduce downtime. You’ll inspect fire alarms, exit signs, and emergency lighting systems to meet safety standards and pass inspections. You’ll coordinate with general contractors, HVAC techs, and plumbers on site to ensure smooth cross-trade workflow.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Connect circuit breakers, outlets, switches, lighting systems, and control panels properly.
  • Take pride in work that quite literally keeps the lights on—safely and reliably.
  • Handle emergency service calls, power outages, or urgent repairs as needed.
  • Dispose of scrap materials responsibly and keep job sites clean and organized.
  • Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.

Preferred:

  • Organized with job documentation, permit handling, time tracking, and reporting service records.
  • Thrives in hands-on, high-responsibility environments where attention to detail is essential.
  • Comfortable training or mentoring apprentices and junior technicians on job safety and wiring standards.
  • Skilled in working with conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting systems, and control panels.
  • Able to identify and resolve electrical faults, overloads, and wiring issues efficiently and safely.

Benefits:

  • Your expertise is trusted — no babysitting, no micromanagement.
  • Flexible scheduling — early mornings or steady 9-to-5, depending on your crew.
  • We keep the paperwork minimal — so you can focus on the circuits.
  • We respect your time — show up, work hard, go home proud.
  • Time-and-a-half for emergency calls, nights, and holidays.

You’ll be expected to work in wet, dark, hot, or confined conditions, sometimes with limited information and time pressure. You’ll receive training in rapid troubleshooting, live-panel safety, and safe work methods under time constraints. You’ll rotate through different types of calls — from blown service panels to elevator shutdowns to flooded basements. You’ll be expected to work independently or with an apprentice, depending on the scale of the job. You’ll be part of a responsive, fast-moving team that takes pride in restoring safety and power when it matters most. You’ll mentor junior team members when needed, sharing your knowledge of troubleshooting, layouts, and safe practices. Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to train are welcome. If you’re experienced in keeping buildings bright, functional, and safe, we’re ready to welcome you to our commercial electrical team. If you’re ready to keep buildings powered, safe, and running smoothly — we’re ready to put tools in your hand and welcome you as an Electrician.
