Description:
We’re looking for a Remote HR Coordinator to support our HR team by managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. You’ll manage job postings, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for every new team member. You’ll be responsible for scheduling interviews, preparing onboarding materials, and supporting new hires throughout their first days. You’ll manage and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal requirements. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive company culture, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported. You’ll ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in the implementation of HR policies that reflect best practices. You’ll ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, helping to mitigate risks and promote fairness. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team to help develop and implement employee growth initiatives and performance reviews. You’ll help maintain an organized and compliant HR system, keeping all records accurate and up to date.
Basic Qualifications:
- Respond to Slack, email, or ticket-based inquiries quickly and clearly—remote employees rely on timely info.
- Ensure all time-off requests, sick leaves, and employment changes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications as part of the hiring pipeline.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, directing employees to the right resources or escalating when needed.
- Support remote onboarding workflows by preparing checklists, provisioning accounts, and ensuring new hires feel welcome from day one.
Preferred:
- Understands confidentiality and the importance of handling sensitive information securely.
- Comfortable communicating with candidates, employees, and hiring managers remotely.
- Comfortable maintaining digital files, updating HR systems, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Proactive about solving small issues before they become bigger problems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling employee records and deadlines.
