Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building robust backend services and APIs. You’ll work with experienced developers to build backend infrastructure that ensures smooth communication between servers, databases, and clients. You’ll write clean, reusable code using backend technologies like Node. js, Python, or Ruby. js, Python, or Java, ensuring reliability and performance. You’ll collaborate with database administrators to maintain and optimize database systems for fast and efficient data access. You’ll work with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to deploy applications and scale infrastructure as needed. You’ll participate in optimizing the backend for speed and scalability, addressing performance issues as they arise. You’ll assist in creating scalable systems, focusing on load balancing, data storage, and efficient communication between services.

Basic Qualifications:

• Understand basic DevOps concepts so you can better collaborate on deployments and server-related tasks.
• Break down tasks into manageable chunks and track progress using tools like Jira, Trello, or Notion.
• Support the development and maintenance of backend services, APIs, and database logic using Node.js, Python, Java, or other backend languages.
• Be open to learning about CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Heroku, etc.).
• Help manage and query relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases with care for performance and accuracy.

Preferred:

• Familiar with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and how to write simple SQL queries.
• Familiar with Express.js, Django, Flask, or Spring Boot for building server applications.
• Background or strong interest in computer science, backend development, or cloud infrastructure.
• Curious about performance, scalability, and how to write efficient queries or endpoints.
• Able to connect frontend applications with backend services for full-stack functionality.
