Description:

We’re hiring a Truck Driver Trainee for intercity and long-distance routes — no experience needed, just a license, steady hands, and a head for the road. You’ll learn what it takes to drive across regions and clock hundreds of kilometers per day without compromising safety or focus. You’ll ride with experienced long-haul drivers, see real loading docks, truck stops, tight schedules, and how pros handle the unexpected calmly. You’ll spend the first weeks in guided training: how to inspect a vehicle, read delivery paperwork, manage fuel, and plan smart routes. You’ll learn how to secure cargo, fill out proper paperwork, and communicate with dispatch clearly and professionally. You’ll practice smart braking, smooth gear work, cornering with a loaded trailer, and staying mentally sharp over long hours behind the wheel. You’ll be taught how to talk with dispatch, stay organized, and solve problems calmly when schedules or weather don’t go your way. You’ll be trained in safety protocols, weight limits, road signs, and how to navigate industrial areas with confidence, not fear. You’ll get experience with both highway and rural roads, wide loads and tight docks, quiet stretches and border crossings.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt to different types of vehicles (e.g., box trucks, flatbeds, reefers, tankers) based on job or cargo requirements.
• Deliver goods with a high level of customer service—obtaining signatures, verifying paperwork, and providing clear communication at drop-off points.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips—checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and cargo security in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently over local, regional, or long-haul routes.
• Secure all necessary permits or documentation when crossing state or national borders (for cross-border or intermodal trucking).

Preferred:

• Comfortable working independently, following schedules, and adapting to changes on the road.
• Comfortable driving in varying weather, road, and traffic conditions.
• Understands the importance of customer service, punctuality, and safe driving practices.
• Able to communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients in a professional manner.
• Proven experience operating long-haul, local, or regional trucks safely and efficiently.
