Description:

We’re hiring a dedicated Translation Specialist to join our team and provide accurate, timely translations for various projects. You’ll be responsible for translating a wide range of content, including legal, technical, and marketing materials. You’ll collaborate with other departments to ensure translations are aligned with company messaging and industry standards. You’ll perform thorough quality checks, proofreading and editing translations to ensure they are free of errors and culturally appropriate. You’ll manage the translation process from start to finish, handling everything from initial translation to final review. You’ll ensure that all translated materials are grammatically correct, error-free, and properly formatted according to project needs. You’ll work with various languages and specialties, including legal, medical, and technical documents, providing expert knowledge where needed. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple translation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with editors, proofreaders, or QA reviewers to refine and finalize translated content.
• Support multilingual teams by offering guidance on phrasing, tone, or cultural sensitivity where needed.
• Translate both general and specialized content (medical, legal, technical, financial, etc.) depending on your expertise.
• Review source material for errors or inconsistencies before translating—flagging any issues that could affect quality.
• Work independently in a remote setting—planning your workflow, managing time zones, and staying self-disciplined.

Preferred:

• Experience working with bilingual documents, spreadsheets, or presentations.
• Can adapt translation style depending on content type — legal, medical, technical, or marketing.
• Familiar with basic localization practices for websites, apps, or digital products.
• Capable of handling tight deadlines while maintaining high linguistic quality.
• Able to work with glossaries, translation memories, and client-specific terminology.
