Description:

We’re looking for a meticulous and dedicated Game Tester to join our team and help ensure our games are free from bugs and glitches. You’ll be responsible for testing new games across various devices and platforms, identifying issues, and ensuring a smooth gameplay experience. You’ll play through various levels of the game, providing detailed feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and overall user experience. You’ll test games on different devices and platforms, ensuring that everything functions properly across all configurations. You’ll be tasked with playing games across multiple platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance consistency across devices. You’ll be tasked with verifying fixes and updates, making sure new features are working correctly and do not introduce new problems. You’ll help test new features, patches, and updates, ensuring all changes work properly and do not cause new issues. You’ll help with testing game updates, patches, and new content, ensuring everything runs smoothly with each release.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide clear and constructive feedback on game mechanics, UI clarity, and player experience, especially during alpha or beta phases.
• Balance fun and focus—game testing is playing with purpose, not just playing for fun.
• Monitor frame rates, load times, and crash reports to support performance testing and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and designers to verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
• Work with version control and development builds, updating test results and tracking changes across versions.

Preferred:

• Values confidentiality when working on unreleased or NDA-protected titles.
• Familiar with different game genres and understands player expectations for each.
• Organized with task tracking, testing checklists, and reporting schedules.
• Can differentiate between minor annoyances and game-breaking issues.
• Experience testing or playing a variety of games across platforms (PC, console, mobile).
