We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to join our creative nail design studio — perfect for someone who’s artistic, detail-oriented, and ready to express beauty through nail art and extensions. You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of nail hygiene, sanitation, and workspace preparation under licensed professionals. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained to perform classic and spa manicures using top-tier products and gentle, precise technique. You’ll help file, refine, and buff surfaces smoothly before color, design, or sealing is applied. You’ll assist in preparing herbal soaks, warm oil wraps, and hand massages that restore rather than strip the skin. You’ll support nail art prep — mixing custom gel colors, cleaning brushes, organizing stones, and preparing foil, stickers, and pigments. You’ll assist with gel and polish application using steady handwork and clean, even layers free from bubbles or streaks. You’ll help educate clients on aftercare, nail nutrition, and how to maintain healthy hands between visits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Sanitize tools and workstations thoroughly between each client in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Prepare and mix products like acrylic powder or gel builder accurately before application.
• Take pride in your work—beautiful nails can truly brighten someone’s day.
• Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistent results.
• Recognize and advise on signs of nail or skin conditions that may require medical attention.

Preferred:

• Certified or trained in manicure and pedicure services with a solid understanding of nail anatomy and hygiene.
• Familiar with shaping nails, cuticle care, buffing, and applying polish with precision and consistency.
• Willing to upsell treatments, nail care packages, or retail products to enhance service value.
• Willing to help with salon upkeep, restocking, and supporting coworkers when needed.
• Knowledge of current trends in nail art, seasonal designs, and customer style preferences.
