Description:

We’re looking for a Cook who can handle the heat — someone who moves fast, stays sharp, and turns ingredients into comfort, flavor, and consistency every shift. You’ll prep, cook, and plate breakfast, lunch, or brunch items depending on the shift, always keeping quality and consistency in mind. You’ll work clean and stay organized, keeping your station stocked, sanitized, and ready for action at all times. You’ll follow recipes and portion guides closely to ensure every plate meets quality and presentation standards. You’ll maintain a clean and organized station, following food safety standards and hygiene practices with discipline. You’ll communicate clearly with servers and other cooks to time dishes correctly and avoid bottlenecks during rushes. You’ll be expected to stay cool under pressure, adapt to unexpected changes, and recover fast when mistakes happen. We’ll teach you how to set up a clean, organized station and how to break it down at the end of your shift. You’ll take feedback well, ask questions when unsure, and aim to get a little better every week.

Basic Qualifications:

• Label and date all prepped items and store them correctly in fridges or dry storage.
• Train junior kitchen staff or dishwashers in prep, cleaning, or basic cooking tasks.
• Support team members across stations and step in wherever help is needed during peak times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and tools.
• Handle kitchen equipment properly and report any malfunctions or hazards immediately.

Preferred:

• Open to early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed.
• Understands kitchen flow and prioritizes tasks to maintain steady service without delays.
• Thrives in high-energy, collaborative environments where food is made with care.
• Team-oriented and able to communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
