Description:

We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to assist in a luxury nail salon — ideal for someone who values elegance, discretion, and delivering a flawless client experience. You’ll start by learning how to prep natural nails properly for long-lasting extensions and designs. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained in natural strengthening treatments using plant-based serums and mineral-rich bases. You’ll help apply breathable, chemical-free polishes with precision and a focus on nail health over harsh trends. You’ll assist with classic services like trimming, filing, buffing, and polish application, using minimal tools and maximum care. You’ll be taught how to handle premium brands, scented treatments, and delicate nail tools with care and refinement. You’ll be taught how to present yourself professionally, speak confidently, and respect the privacy and preferences of each client. You’ll assist in nail art preparation — mixing colors, organizing rhinestones, or creating sample designs with your mentor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow local health regulations, licensing requirements, and salon policies at all times.
• Handle nail art, decals, rhinestones, and freehand designs for special events or custom looks.
• Help maintain inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking.
• Protect client comfort by being gentle, clean, and communicative during services.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service that makes clients feel confident and pampered.

Preferred:

• Experience providing classic, gel, shellac, or acrylic manicures and pedicures in a salon or freelance setting.
• Pays attention to timing to ensure services are delivered efficiently without rushing quality.
• Able to maintain detailed records of client preferences, allergies, and past services.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a salon, spa, or beauty studio.
• Familiar with handling various nail shapes (e.g., almond, coffin, stiletto) and extensions or overlays.
