Description:

We’re hiring a Warehouse Worker for our cold storage facility — perfect for someone who’s physically prepared, detail-focused, and comfortable working in refrigerated environments. You’ll be responsible for picking, scanning, and packing items from a digital picklist using handheld devices and smart carts. You’ll pick and pack orders based on packing slips or barcode scanners, preparing them for timely and accurate delivery. You’ll load and unload trucks during off-peak hours, following safety protocols and using pallet jacks or forklifts where trained. You’ll rotate between picking, packing, shelving, and restocking depending on your shift’s focus and volume. You’ll rotate between scanning, loading, unloading, and staging depending on volume and staffing needs. You’ll follow packaging standards for fragile, oversized, or multi-item orders to reduce damage during delivery. You’ll work under time pressure during peak hours, especially early mornings, evenings, or holiday rushes. You’ll rotate between receiving, packing, labeling, and staging depending on shift needs and volume.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow specific handling instructions for temperature-sensitive or regulated items.
• Work closely with shipping and receiving teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Prepare orders by gathering, wrapping, labeling, and staging items for delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely to move heavy goods.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required protective gear to maintain a secure work environment.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Inventory Coordinator, Shift Lead, Forklift Operator, or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Willing to assist in unloading trucks, staging pallets, and preparing outgoing shipments based on route schedules.
• Comfortable lifting, stacking, and moving heavy boxes safely according to warehouse safety guidelines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting packing, picking, or shipping quotas.
• Comfortable working in cold storage, hot environments, or standing/walking for long durations.

You’ll report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or supply shortages to supervisors right away. You’ll help with sorting returns, repackaging resalable items, and flagging any damaged or incorrect products for review. You’ll use scanners, tablets, and digital dashboards to track parcel flow and report task completion. You’ll be expected to meet speed metrics while maintaining zero tolerance for mis-sorts or missed scans. You’ll receive regular breaks and warm-up periods throughout your shift to protect your health and focus. You’ll receive coaching and mentorship from leads and supervisors who want to help you succeed.
