Description:
We’re looking for an IT Support Technician who combines technical know-how with a genuine desire to help people. You’ll be the first to respond when devices crash, software fails, or users just need a little help navigating systems. Your mission is to make technology feel simple and stress-free for everyone. You’ll set up new devices, install software, reset passwords, and handle support tickets like a boss. Whether it’s hardware hiccups or software quirks, you know how to keep cool and find solutions. You’ll keep track of issues using a help desk system and always follow up to ensure nothing gets missed. Onboarding new teammates? You’ll maintain IT inventory, monitor system health, and help enforce security protocols. No two days are the same — and that’s exactly what keeps you engaged.
Basic Qualifications:
- Apply patches, updates, and antivirus protections to ensure systems remain secure and compliant with IT policies.
- Participate in IT audits or compliance checks, helping collect and verify required technical data.
- Respond to service desk tickets using ITSM tools like Jira, Freshservice, or Zendesk—tracking progress and communicating clearly with users.
- Perform regular system health checks, backups, and routine maintenance to keep devices and systems running smoothly.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices—both Windows and macOS environments.
Preferred:
- Interested in learning more about IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL.
- Familiar with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or Zoom for assisting users.
- Open to working in environments that support hybrid or remote users across time zones.
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, permissions, or user access.
- Able to follow internal procedures for troubleshooting, asset management, and security compliance.
