Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee with a focus on user research — no experience required, just empathy, curiosity, and a desire to design things that actually help people. You’ll work inside real startups and MVP projects where screens go live quickly and feedback comes just as fast. We’ll teach you how to conduct interviews, build survey questions, and lead simple usability tests with real or test users. You’ll help plan research sessions, take notes, organize feedback, and turn patterns into recommendations for the design team. Expect to work on small features first: buttons, navbars, cards, modals — learning how everything fits into a design system. You’ll learn how to spot inconsistencies, document behavior, and maintain clean handoffs between design and development. You’ll also work with designers, writers, and marketers to keep each section clean, punchy, and user-focused. You’ll also contribute to building usage guidelines, example layouts, and internal resources that improve speed and clarity for everyone. We’ll help you connect research to UI: how to go from “this is confusing” to “here’s how we can fix it.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create responsive layouts that work beautifully across different screen sizes and devices.
• Organize design files clearly so other team members (or future you) can pick up where you left off.
• Use tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to bring interfaces to life from rough drafts to pixel-perfect screens.
• Stay up to date with design trends but only apply what actually improves the experience.
• Keep accessibility top of mind, from color contrast to keyboard navigation.

Preferred:

• Able to adapt design styles depending on product type: SaaS, e-commerce, mobile app, etc.
• Wants to grow into roles like Product Designer, UX Researcher, or Design Lead.
• Organized with version control, naming conventions, and design file structure for smooth handoffs.
• Keeps up with UI/UX trends, tools, and evolving design standards across platforms.
• Understands user-centered design principles and can apply them to web, mobile, or software products.
