Description:

We’re seeking an Emergency Room Nurse who can think fast, move smart, and stay calm in the middle of the unexpected — someone who brings order to chaos and compassion to crisis moments. You’ll provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound management. You’ll administer medications, assist with procedures, and ensure that care plans are followed with accuracy and empathy. You’ll administer IVs, monitor vitals, manage pain, and assist with emergency procedures as part of a rapid-response team. You’ll take the time to explain, listen, and reassure — whether you’re with a worried parent, a confused elderly patient, or someone in recovery. You’ll prepare patients for tests, provide pre- and post-op support, and make sure they understand what’s happening and why. You’ll communicate clearly with patients and families, offering updates and reassurance — even when emotions are running high. You’ll help manage medical equipment, maintain clean and safe workspaces, and uphold all hygiene and safety protocols. You’ll help train new staff and maintain readiness for mass-casualty or critical care overflow events.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor medical equipment and alert physicians to any concerning changes.
• Help families understand conditions, comfort options, or end-of-life care with empathy.
• Administer medications, injections, IVs, and wound care as prescribed by physicians.
• Follow strict hygiene, infection control, and hospital safety protocols at all times.
• Manage time across multiple patients while adapting to shifting priorities.

Preferred:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with up-to-date certifications.
• Able to manage physical demands of nursing such as lifting, standing, and extended shifts.
• Pays close attention to patient safety, medication accuracy, and timely interventions.
• Willing to advocate for patient needs and collaborate with physicians and specialists.
• Organized with shift reports, charting, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
